Starting the direct flights to Bosnia and Georgia for the summer 2017. FK Gryphon has signed a contract with the Hajj and Umrah Services Group (Mawasem) to be the exclusive operator for direct flights to Bosnia and Georgia during the 2017 summer season. Sarajevo’s direct flights begin on July 7, 2017, and will continue until September 8, 2017. A320 aircraft will be used for this destination, with 3 flights per week to Sarajevo in Bosnia, and for Georgia flights, 9 direct flights to Tbilisi and Batumi in the Republic of Georgia, beginning on July 9th until September 7, 2017. It is worth saying that FK Gryphon is the first company that has made a direct non-stop airline route from Kuwait to Sarajevo for five years up to this day.
The company’s cooperation with ‘Mawasem’ this year is due to the desire of both the parties to open an air bridge during the summer season for travel lovers to the Republics of Bosnia and Georgia in Eastern Europe, and to expand commercial aviation services between the parties by combining their expertise in this area to provide travel opportunities for both tourists and investors to choose what suits them from trips that correspond to their connections during the travel season.
The travel and booking operations for these flights are handled by Al Salaam Travel Office, the company’s travel and tourism office. It is known that the office provides full services for tourists wishing to travel with the follow-up and termination of their travel requirements, including visa for non-Kuwaiti citizens, where Kuwaiti citizens do not need a visa to visit Bosnia and the Republic of Georgia. The office also provides services to the clients through offers of hotel accommodation in both countries.
